90% of repairs are simple ones. A bent key here, a pad that needs to be replaced there. Campana Music can do these on-site, usually the same day or on the spot depending on the repair. We have over 30 years of experience fixing musical instruments. We have just about seen it all, and fixed it all.
Other music stores send their instruments, including ones they rent out, to be fixed by another company. Or try to repair them using a book as a guide. Even for simple things like a replacing cork on the joints of a clarinet or an oboe have to be sent out. Or stuck values on a trumpet. Or a stuck mouthpiece!
We also restring and tune Violins, Violas, Cellos, and Guitars.
In Summer of 2012 we will have a certified graduate from a major instrument repair school in shop!
